Take Me To Maama begins with an anecdote about the fear of witchcraft and the accusations that some women may face in Africa.

Jerry, who is one the sons of Nnenna a woman accused of using witchcraft to kill her husband had to take up family responsibilities for his mom and younger brother, Dave. The hardship he faces is irreconcilable and he finds a solution in drug dealing to escape it.

His brother chose a different path but might have to pay with his life if he speaks up against Jerry’s drug dealer boss. During the entire action, Jerry loses his fiancee in a car fire accident but saves his brother.
