The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) officially released the results of the 2025 mop-up Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) on July 6, 2025.

How to Check Results Jamb Mop-Up Exam Results

  • SMS Method:
    Candidates were directed to check their results by sending the word “UTMERESULT” (typed as a single word, no spaces or punctuation) via SMS to either 55019 or 66019.
  • Phone Number Requirement:
    The SMS must be sent from the same phone number used during UTME registration. This ensures that the result is sent to the correct candidate and maintains the integrity of the process.
  • Step-by-Step Guide:
    • Open the messaging app on your registered phone.
    • Type: UTMERESULT
    • Send to: 55019 or 66019
    • Wait for a reply SMS containing your UTME result.

Common Problems

Standard SMS charges apply for each result request.

  • No Result Received:
    Candidates who did not receive their results were advised to:
    • Confirm they used the correct phone number.
    • Ensure they typed the keyword correctly.
    • Retry after resolving any network or airtime issues.
  • Further Assistance:
    Persistent issues should be reported to JAMB support or the nearest JAMB office for resolution.
