Kemi the all Nigerian, Strikes the Police Force, Government Fearlessly

Kemi Badenoch is all Nigerian. With or without permission, the Leader of the United Kingdom, UK, Conservative Party, says what she wants to say when she wants to.

Most Nigerians, home or abroad would fear to make some of the comments that Badenoch makes confidently. Are people afraid to speak because Kemi is right about “Almost everything seems broken?” In that sense, most Nigerians appear to side with Kemi on her comments especially when she talked about the Nigerian police.

Badenoch calls Nigeria “very poor.” In her experience, the police steal from citizens rather than help them. She appeared certain when she said a policeman stole her brother’s shoes and wristwatch.

To crown it all, she acknowledged the British police saying she trusts them more than the Nigerian police.

Her most recent comments confirm that Badenoch detests Nigeria, her home country and where she spent some of her childhood and teenage years. She said she prefers to identify with the Yoruba ethnic group more than the country. Who can blame her? Should Nigerians fear for Kemi?

Badenoch has had several interviews since resuming office, so her comments keep coming. She is not going back on her words – not about the police, her identity as a Yoruba, the broken system of a socialist nation, or insecurity in Nigeria. She is the Nigerian that many wish they could be right now.

Kemi clarified her stance not just on ethnicity but also on religion. “I have nothing in common with the people from the north of the country, Boko Haram area, where the Islamism is. Those were our ethnic enemies and yet you end up being lumped in with those people.”

These are the kinds of comments that have the potential to start a movement and they did. Nigerians are responding.
